Our family-friendly cabins are nestled amongst some of the state’s largest pine trees on 28 beautiful acres in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest north of Grand Rapids, Minnesota

Kokomo Resort provides families with some of the most spacious and comfortable family vacation cabins in Minnesota. Our seven lakeside cabins are fully equipped with modern conveniences like satellite TV and are nicely decorated with a Northwoods feel. We pride ourselves on giving you a quality vacation cabin that is clean, comfortable and relaxing. We offer Wi-Fi internet access in the lodge.

The fishing here is excellent; with a rare combination of walleye to muskies to smallmouth and largemouth bass to panfish. Here you can fish and catch nearly anything your heart desires. The resort offers plenty of family vacation activities to keep both the young and old busy all week, such as our water trampoline, kid-approved playground, our beautiful sandy swimming beach, and much, much more.

We even have an asphalt driveway – allowing you to get to your destination without having to drive down long dusty gravel roads. We are an easy drive from Grand Rapids and all it has to offer. And there are literally hundreds of other lakes within a quick drive. Check us out in the fall. The Edge of the Wilderness National Scenic Byway is one of the most scenic drives in the nation, especially during the fall color changes. It is one of the most popular byways in the state and is on the list of the best fall color tours in Minnesota. As a fall fishing resort in Minnesota, Kokomo is a terrific choice for walleye, muskie, northern, bass and panfish. The fall hunting opportunities here are also excellent.
